This is so cool because other people from other countries can see what kids in Arizona are learning.
Hello to Mrs. Smith's class. We are a first grade class from Ithaca, Michigan. My name is Mrs. Melow and I am Sara Ostrander's great aunt. Her Grandma Ostrander is my husband's sister. We are really busy right now but we are hoping to take a photo of our class and post it to your blog. Have a great day. Mrs. Smith, will you give Sara a big hug from her Aunt Val?
Our class is trying to get Antartica to log on to our blog by sending emails to the scientists reaserching there. Wish us luck.
It is exciting to know that people from around the world can come and see our blog. We want to spread the word that people should vist our blog. Thank you for visting!
Very good to visit your excellent website and blog---exciting visuals and projects!
I am the Technical Information Specialist for the Office of Polar Programs and I enjoy helping teachers and students with educational outreach.
I have visited the continent of Antarctica twice in support of the many scientists that work there.

Mrs.smith it is fun to have you as a teacher this year.I hope we get to learn a lot of things this year. Hello 5th graders! I heard on the grapevine (from Dawn, a friend of your teacher) that you all were doing a project to contact people from around the world. I currently live in Darwin Australia, but have followed a bit of a varied route to get there - if you map it, let me know how far I've gone! Have fun with the project!

Hi All, my name is Darren and I live in Melbourne Australia. I hope you all are having fun with this activity!!
Study hard and listen to your teacher... :)
Hello 5th graders, My name is Helen and I heard about your project through Dawn, a friend of your teachers. What a fabulous idea and what a great way to learn about other countries. We live on 200 acres of land about 1.5hours drive north west of the city of Melbourne in Australia. We sometimes have kangaroos, rabbits, wombats, echidnas and foxes come onto our land looking for food or water. One day I hope to get to America. Take care and have fun with your project. Regards, Helen Godfrey, Melbourne, Australia.
G'Day from Melbourne, Australia!
I love what your doing and will keep coming back to see what you're up to!
Did you know that hardly anyone in Australia says "G'Day Mate"?!?!
Keep up the good work guys!
