Today was marvelous! It was awesome quizing people about who the leader of Iran was! It was cool how every teacher I quized got it right! I can't wait to quiz Mr. Mconnell. I'm going to add some extra hard leaders into that! The discussion we had at the end of the day about who the leader of Ireland was got me curious, so I looked it up and the president is Michael D. Higgins, and the prime minister is Enda Kenny! I plan to start my book about world leaders as soon as I can!

Today was radical learning about where chocolate came from and its history! Earlier today I went with my mom to get your Christmas present! I'm still charismatic about my article getting published! I can't wait until the December issue gets published. It will be amazing to see my own article in the paper! This was a great moment in my life and one that I will never forget! I'm also working hard on my book about world leaders! Have a marvelous weekend!!!

Hey everyone! Sierra and Julian I printed out both of your articles so that I can spend time reading them this weekend. Sorry I've been SO busy-tis' the time of year! I love your comments. I will offer feedback ASAP. I can't WAIT for the BEAR ESSENTIAL NEWS PAPER either! I keep my eye out everyday! Great job challenging yourselves daily. On Monday do we bring a lunchbox or a sack lunch?

Unknown said...

Sierra, which ever you prefer really. The lunches will most like go into our lunch bin. A lunch bag might get smooched, but a box might be the smoocher for others...You decide...Either is fine. ;-)

Hello! I finally found the December issue of Bear Essential News!!! My article is on page 24! I'm extremely happy! My family was also excited when they saw it! Many of them are getting my article framed!! This is very important to me. The paper also talks about the Mars Rover, trash from Japans tsunami washing up on Americas shores, and many others! This issue is extremely cool! I'll bring in a copy of it tomorrow.

The trip to San Xavier was so fun. It was amazing how it has so much history! I learned a lot. Thanks for sharing my article with the class. This article can help me later in life with a scholarship! Thanks for editing and helping with the article. I'll try to get you autographs from the KVOA staff. Eventually they'll put my article online! If I am a reporter I'll put all of my story's online. I'm almost finished with my book about world leaders! I believe that it's your birthday tomorrow, so my parents and I say Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Julian, I am SO glad you had a good day. Mr. Matchett is really up to date on current events! Unfortunately, Clare is sick, so I'll be gone tomorrow too. Please tell your mom the field trip is still on, Mr. Matchett is willing to go. Hopefully everyone will behave well again. Parent volunteers will have the same groups as they did on Monday, only Fernie's group will be Mrs. Bryant(Hope's mom). Hope you have a great time, bring a WARM coat, it will be COLD tomorrow!!!

Today was amazing at tumacocari! It has a lot of historical information! As well as San Xavier, it was founded by Father Kino. It's also younger than San Xavier! It was once raided by Apache tribes. Before Kino came the villagers had to do everything themselves. When Kino came He brought food, crops, and tools! It has amazing history! It was also very beautiful! The art was amazing! My mom and I were going to take pictures and give them to you so that you could experience it as much as we did. Unfortunately her camera battery died. :-( Sorry about that. Have a great evening and see you tomorrow!!!

OMG that is so cute!!!! Does it cost any money!?

Unknown said...

HI JAZMIN! Yes, it did cost money. The students paid $50 to co-adopt this turtle. It will be fun to track it. I will keep the journey of this lil' critter on our class blog as I get to know more about it. Great to hear from you, thanks for sharing comments. How are you, and how is school this year? Hope you are well!
