I added a new post to my blog! I just discovered that 50 years ago today the fab four (The Beatles) formed to make a wonderful band! I love the book about Gabby Giffords that her and Mark Kelly wrote. What really amazes me is that she wrote after she got shot. It would be awesome if I could interview her! I have the e-mail address to her office! I also just reached 85 hours on IXL! Thanks for all of your support for me when I do these interviews. :-)

I've been reading about Mrs. Giffords injury. Tomorrow can I read a little article to the class about her injury?

Great job guys!!!! Thanks for the links Sierra-we'll have to share them with the class tomorrow. Julian, I'm on my way to your blog. :-) See you tomorrow-guess I'll have to play the Friday song for everyone!

When we were reading the science packet in class I realized that one of the projects was the biodegradable plastics. That's kind of related to my project. Do you think I can still do my project? I kind of feel like it has already been used. Please tell me ASAP. I MUST know if I have to start another project.
Love the turtle cam! Have a primary weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm exhausted. I was hoping tomorrow I could work really hard on the project. Pretty please with cherries on top. If say no, give me a break I got you a turtle and washed your windows! Just kidding, it was no problem. ;)

Julian~Loved your video on your blog. Great job!
Sierra~ Give me an actual question so I can better guide your direction. I'm still not sure exactly what you are hoping to accomplish. I just don't want you to invest too much time if it's not an experiment. Outline a question tonight, show it to me in writing tomorrow. Then I will provide you with more time. :-)

I'll have my interview with Brian Flagg tomorrow! I agree it was really hot in the computer lab. It's good in a way because it gives us more time to study! See you and Ms. K tomorrow!

Do you think a science project base on paper air planes will get me higher than the green ribon?

Brian, the best way to come up with a good science project idea is to THINK of one by using YOUR brain-not what other people think is a good idea. Think about a question(s) you've had or have about anything. Anything!!!!!!! Have you thought about possible answers to a problem you've had, others have had or even world problems. It's simple. I promise. Remember when we learned about the brain and read the article about how around fourth/fifth grade, students creative minds start to atrophy (disappear) because they are so concerned with what others think. Don't let that happen to you!!!!!
1. Write a list of things that interest you.
2. Write a list of problems you've had or are having
3. Write a list of problems others are having (family, friends, state problems, country problems, world problems?)
4. Add possible solutions (ways to solve the problem) to the problems you listed
After you do this, you will be exercising your brain by thinking. Thinking is something kids do not do enough of. It's not easy, it's really hard, but it's okay! :-)

Hello! Everyone was very well behaved today, if you were wondering. I read the article that you gave me last night and it's great! Thanks so much for that article! My family has had a sad day. Yesterday my older cousin's lung collapsed. We don't know how it happened but we found out yesterday. I hope that she'll be okay. :-(
Apart from that everything is fine, so have a wonderful evening!

I got a question last night! Do kids that play musical instruments have a higher IQ than kids who don't?

Julian said...

That's a very good question Sierra! I think kids who play musical instruments do have a higher IQ! I play a musical instrument and look how amazing I am. ;-) It's hard to control but it's a very unique question! It's also very original and creative! Mrs. Smith I just found out that the Beatles song, Across The Universe, went through NASA's satellite and into outer space. So it really did go "across the universe"! I plan on starting my next article tonight! It's about wasted food and raising awareness about it! I'll also talk about Casa Maria! I can't wait to start writing it!

I really need your approval.;)

NEVERMIND!!!!!!!!!!

Sierra, I think your question is very good. Just difficult to control. We'll chat Friday.Don't worry, you will be fine. ;-) Julian, I am so excited about your connection to food waste. I added a video for you. Let's also chat tomorrow. Good night! :-)
