In my opinion, It's very important to commemorate and honor the victims of the terrible tragedy of 9/11. Many people died and others gave their lives for their country.
I've been having an excellent time at Orange Grove. In science we've been measuring weather here in Tucson, using thermometers, barometers, anemometers, and etc. In English I've more than impressed my teacher with my excellent writing skills. In band I started playing the French Horn. If I'm successful at the French Horn, I'm virtually guaranteed a scholarship and will go to Japan in 8th grade. In 2008, Catalina Foothills High school played in the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics!
In math I've been working on the GCF venn diagram expression method. Social Studies I've aced every test, and I am now fluent in Spanish thanks to my Spanish teacher!
I'm valedictorian or one of the valedictorians in every class.
We also have excellent sports teams. We've won almost every game. The 8th graders just won their latest game, beating La Cima about 6 to 1. Have a great week in your fourth-fifth grade class!

Julian! I have no doubt that you are on your way toward what ever your heart desires. You're high academic ability combined with motivational drive is remarkable for someone your age. So glad to hear you are enjoying middle school and in addition, that you are more than prepared for academically advanced classes. Continue to keep me/class posted. I have "fed the seed" to my class with regards to writing articles for Bear Essential News. Upcoming Young Reporter event is in October. YAY! GREAT to hear from you, miss having you in class this year. :-)
