ROSAT
Roentgen Satellite or ROSAT, will tumble to Earth sometime in early November

Friday we discussed briefly the impact of natural disasters, specifically, Hurricane Katrina. Some of you expressed interest in seeing more of the Make It Right website.
Have a great weekend!

The KVOA young reporters was astonishing! I got to meet all the news reporters and I learned how to be a proper reporter. I got to see myself on the tv. I got my own note pad and everything. I also saw Mrs. Omara and her son there. It was so cool! Would it be okay if I found somebody to interview every week and put it on the newsletter? You are the the teacher that inspires me to do these things. Thank you.

Thanks guys for your comments! I'm so glad you are challenging yourselves during your weekend! You're all AWESOME! Julian, I LOVED reading your post about the KVOA young reporters. I am EXTREMELY glad that you took it upon yourself to attend such a cool program! It's kids like you who grow up and are successful in life. I wish all students were motivated about learning like you are. As we learned in science, specifically brain research, learning as much as you can at a young age, will offer endless opportunities later. This is the time to learn as much as you can and YOU ARE! Kudoos my friend! :-D I'm sure you have thanked your parents too, they are very supportive about taking you to all of these wonderful places to help you extend your learning. I wish all kids had parents like yours. :-) Also, I think it is a fabulous idea to include an interview every week. I'll let you figure out how you'd like to organize this. Maybe you could put others from the group in charge of different tasks, so you aren't the one doing all of the work. ;-)Remember, your group can use more than one computer and there might be others from the class who might be interested in helping too. As long as students are keeping up with their class & homework, have responsible behavior, they can participate too. Thanks again Julian, have a great day! :-)
